It was very good. We used to go often when Ryan was the chef and the new chef (I think his brother) wasn’t putting out the same quality dishes so we stopped going for a couple years. We decided to try again for Valentine’s this year and it was really good. The pork ribeye was to die for, an extremely balanced meal! The shrimp risotto wasn’t bad, but was very bland. Not much flavor to the dish unfortunately. Service was okay, friendly staff, but definitely not trained in true fine dining. That is the one thing we do miss about this place. The general manager a few years ago they brought in to turn things around was absolutely phenomenal! Since he has been gone the service hasn’t been the same. We will probably go back sometime but will just have to know the experience isn’t the same as before unfortunately.

Great meal. Harp playing outside checkin. Celebrated Valentines with wife and sophmore son. They had an alternative menu for Valentines. Unable to order the salad for my vegetarian wife. So she got Hummus which was great. The glaze on the Tofu was not palatable for her. So only food item that wasn’t excellent. Wish they would have let her order the pear salad off the Valentines menu for 2. Also, parking was supposed to be included but they said lot was full with 2 open spots visible. We made the best of it and even survived going to get the car in the snow at the bookstore lot. Shocked I said excellent but really enjoyed having dinner with my wife and son at Rohr.

We went on Valentine's Day for the first time after hearing from friends how good The Reserve was. Our server was Jade. We were promptly seated. Jade explained the menu, cited the night's special, and made suggestions. We ordered drinks first and the bread and cheese. Drinks were well made. The bread and cheese was generous. We ordered beans and pork belly --that was good. Four our entree, we had Tagliatelle and the lobster/pasta special. Both were excellent. Portions were enough that we both took some home. For dessert, we had the special chocolate cake. Over all, we both thought The Reserve was great. We will be back. We especially appreciated Jade's pacing and attentiveness on a night when the restaurant was filled to capacity!

Chris in Mishawaka/Granger, IN, was truly remarkable and surpassed our previous visits. From the moment we made our reservation, the staff went above and beyond to address our concerns about seating—since I mistakenly booked a booth in the bar. They quickly accommodated our request to move us to the dining area, which we greatly appreciated. The host and our waiter were fantastic, and the food exceeded our expectations. The only minor hiccup was the lighting, which flickered from low to high beams towards the end of our meal. Despite this, everything else was exceptional! We can't wait to return for another wonderful dining experience.
