The menu is extensive in its choices, and if you have never experienced Korean BBQ before, it can be intimidating to know what to select. While there are a large number of waiters, they seem to all be constantly on the move. As such, you hate to interrupt them for a long discussion about the menu and what would be best selected. Reservations for 6 p.m. on a long weekend was probably not the best time to explore a new restaurant and a new cuisine for 3 out of the 4 in our group. We chose 3 appetizers, 3 meat servings, and 2 servings of rice. This was slightly more than we needed as it was all tasty, and we probably all overate. Once ordered, the meat/sauces and add-ons came quickly. The appetizers were all prepared fresh and came as we were half way through cooking the meat. So not the traditional way to enjoy a meal. But we made it work and enjoyed it all. The after-dinner drink with ice crystals, complimentary, and a small sweet touch as dessert given once the bill has been settled, was interesting and tasty - but not necessarily the best given the -25C outside. The restaurant keeps a cool temperature, which one does not notice when the grills are heating, the meat is cooking, and the place is packed with patrons. Eliminate all three of these factors and the atmosphere was almost cold - which may be another way to have quick turnover of customers, or not. But it did encourage us to bundle up and head back into the chill of winter.

Excellent service with just enough attention. Good as always excellent. Ribs fall off the bone. Prime rib perfect medium well

We booked a table for two on Valentines Day, and were sat in a booth around the center of the restaurant (around the bar). The noise levels were very manageable, even being close to a major walkway. Our server was very friendly, provided great recommendations and was very helpful. The food was great, and the prices are reasonable. We were shocked at how big our desert was (the caramel toffee cake) - it was almost TOO big between the two of us! But it was wonderful, and we went home with some leftovers. Even on a hectic day like Valentine’s Day, it was very nice and we are happy with how our evening went.

The overall experience at Joey's is excellent. Love going here.

Great experience, staff was awesome, as was the food, great night out for my wife and I If you like Fondue you will love the Melting Pot
