The restaurant specializes in whole grilled fish, which are flown in from the Greek islands, the shores of Morocco, Tunisia and Portugal, and procured from independent North American fishermen. We used materials such as hand-chiseled Jerusalem limestone floors, hand woven rugs, vaulted ceilings, antiqued stucco walls, wood plank floors and exposed wood beams to evoke the traditional atmosphere. Every December, we celebrate my mother’s birthday at Caffe Aldo and it’s always a special experience. This year was especially festive since it was a Saturday night during the holidays and we were serenaded with accordion music and a high school quartet singing Christmas carols. We’ve always noticed and appreciated the professionalism of the staff; it ensures flawless service and an exceptional experience. Our server, Alana, was very attentive and added to our enjoyment of the evening. And, of course, the food was heavenly! Thanks to all who made my mother’s 90th birthday celebration so memorable!

They only had one server so service was slower than usual. The artichoke appetizer which is usually outstanding was greasy and they just threw a roasted red pepper sauce over powering the delicate artichoke. This was not how I had it before. A big disappointment. Ceaset salads were fine. Overall not worthy the spend for lunch
