- MMarkVIPBaltimore / Maryland •48 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoGreat things stay great - as do great restaurants. Last year we visited Bluestone on V-Day and guess what? We did again this year! Many comments I made last year in my Bluestone review remain equally valid: 1. Grace under pressure - Restaurants can display managerial weaknesses on Valentine's Day. Even good and great restaurants, which can get crushed by numbers of holiday celebrants. V-Day may be one of the busiest nights of the year for upscale restaurants. However, the best of the best shine through under the pressure. So was the case with Bluestone on V-Day 2025. Management acumen made the restaurant not seem overly crowded or too bustling but clearly every seat was filled. Bluestone manages its reservations and wait-list with aplomb. 2. Food was wonderful per its lofty standards - We expect greatness at Bluestone and it delivered. Again. The Crisfield Stew never disappoints. Big hunks of fresh seafood in a very tasty broth - like bouillabaisse crossed with Maryland Crab Soup...." I had the highly excellent crabcake-stuffed-flounder, served on a bed of very tasty seasoned rice - sort of a risotto. We devoured the super-hot, fresh rolls while enjoying a couple of perfect cocktails featuring blackberries. Our newish waitress Lauren was rock solid (Kelsey last year probably cannot be topped). All told we dropped $143 but Bluestone is worth every penny. . So what's stopping you? Go to Bluestone.More infoBluestonePrice: Moderate• Seafood• Timonium•4.5
- RReidVIPBaltimore / Maryland •10 reviews4.0Dined on 7 Feb 2025Food is really very good, but one of our dishes that was ordered with medium spice came with barely any spice at all. The menu is more extensive than many Indian restaurants. Service was pretty slow even though the restaurant was not crowded. Price can't be beat, particularly when you are providing your own alcohol. I will definitely return.More infoIndian OceanPrice: Moderate• Indian• Hunt Valley•4.9
- EEllenVIPBaltimore / Maryland •22 reviews4.0Dined on 4 Feb 2025This restaurant just reopened after new ownership and remodel. For 3 days in- couldn’t have experienced better meal. Smash burgers were a hit- especially the shoe string fries. Other meals- were salads and hard to mess those up so of course they worked! Excited to see the evolution and so glad the ambiance is so open and it doesn’t smell anymore.More infoThe Towne TavernPrice: Moderate• American• Hunt Valley•4
