- SSharonBaltimore / Maryland •4 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoAlways a lovely experience, especially at Christmas! Our party of 4 was seated in the library. The walk from the front door to the restaurant is glorious during the holidays. Our server, David, was cordial and knowledgeable, albeit a little "stretched" as they were very busy and down a couple servers for the night. The fried oysters (appetizer) was really good - crispy/crunchy outside and tender and silky inside -- accompanied by a little country ham, bread and butter pickles, freesia, small stewed tomatoes and a delicious, slightly spicy, sauce - all four of us had this! I had the Lemaire burger, which I love, and it was perfectly cooked at medium rare - two in my party had the tenderloin which they said was also cooked a perfect medium rare. One said their steak was nice and moist, the other said, while delicious and tender, was a little dry. The 4th in the party had the scallops - she had them last time she was there and loved them. Didn't disappoint - she said they were delicious! We were too full for dessert. The only negative was not really Lemaire's fault - I went to the front desk to pay for my valet service and the young woman told me she would rather I did it through the app. I told her I did that last time and you have to register again and fill out a lot of information, I would like to just pay my $18 in cash with her. She looked at me and said, "I prefer you use the app". Does not seem like her training in providing quality service at The Jefferson was completed! Overall, you can't beat Lemaire for a classic dining experience.More infoLemaire at The Jefferson HotelPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Richmond•4.7
- DDougNew York City •7 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoMy wife and I laugh at ourselves because we travel to Richmond and love so many of the unique restaurants in the city, but we also keep coming back to Fall Line in a hotel. It really is that good and reliable. Excellent, friendly service with great drinks and wine, and a nice selection of appetizers and entrees for whatever you’re in the mood for. Our daughter also very much appreciates the “secret” kids menu with basics for when she’s not feeling a “fancy” meal. Definitely a level above what you would expect from a hotel restaurant, and the ambience/decor helps give you a separate dining experience feel.More infoFall Line Kitchen & BarPrice: Expensive• Bar / Lounge / Bottle Service• Richmond•4.4
