Decided to try this place on a whim and left very impressed with the quality of the food, service, and value. Staff were very attentive, and the food was better quality at a better price than many other places in the Wasatch back. Will definitely return.

This place gives you an experience like no other. The service is top notch, they don’t rush you in or out and make you feel like family. The food is fresh and perfectly cooked to perfection. We celebrated our 37th wedding anniversary that visit and it was our first time there. Our kind server was so attentive and worked at our pace. My husband had the braised short ribs rigatoni and I had the sweet chili pork loin. I would highly recommend both. Portions are also plentiful we didn’t have room for their delicious so find deserts. But that’s just just an option for next time. We can’t wait to go back and try other options on their menu. We want to try them on a warm summer night on their patio with a view of Deer Creek.

I was a little apprehensive going here because other reviews seemed to be hit or miss, but I’m so glad I gave The Hub a shot— I will absolutely be returning on future visits to the Heber area! We made a reservation and arrived at what appeared to be peak dinner hour. However, we were seated quickly and provided waters and menus. It took the server a little bit to get to us, but he did stop by to acknowledge our wait and let us know he’d be right with us. It was probably 10 minutes before he came to take our orders, but he was slammed and working hard. We ordered the Bavarian Pretzel appetizer, which was perfect for 4 adults to share. Each of us got different sandwiches— the Reuben, the Triple Grilled Cheese, and Hatch Green Chili sandwiches. Each was absolutely delicious and more than ample on portion size— only one of us was actually able to finish their entree. The sandwiches comes with your choice of French fries or sweet potato fries, or you can substitute for a small House or Caesar salad. The fries all come with fry sauce and are perfectly cooked and seasoned. The small salad I got was fresh and generously took up half my plate. Throughout dinner, there was one staff member dedicated to keeping our water glasses filled and we found the service to be very attentive. The food was great quality, not unreasonably priced, and delicious. The restaurant is clean and has been beautifully remodeled. I highly recommend The Hub, especially because you can make a reservation during peak ski/holiday season. It’s a win!

Great local restaurant, quaint ambience. Here for lunch this day. I had the Wilted Spinach salad with Salmon on top and my wife the Steak Frites. Salad very tasty with all fresh ingredients and the salmon cooked just right on the top. Steak was medium rare as requested, tender, very flavorful. We topped off our meal with dessert, peach sorbet, and cheese cake. Overall all food well prepared, tasty, and filling. Service was excellent. If you are in the Midway area, the Blue Boar Restaurant is well worth a visit.
