Kula Lodge has one of the best views on Maui and even though we live here, we will never tire of it. This was a destination I always made sure was on my list when I would visit Maui before we moved here We typically go for brunch so we can enjoy the garden and scenery. Native plants and flowers overflowing. Beth was our wonderful server, and she always has a warm smile and kind words for every guest. Along with other long-time server, Meghan, you’ll always be treated like ohana. The menu is diverse and delicious. There’s definitely something for everyone, and the hollandaise on the Benedict is some of the best I’ve had. (I always shamelessly ask for extra) Brunch isn’t brunch without a mimosa or two, but don’t miss the espresso martini. The flavor is unlike any I’ve ever had. I always love to chat with pizza chef Jeff who’s operating the kiawe-wood-fired pizza oven if he’s in town for the winter. Just the nicest person. I love the Kula Lodge and I will return as long as it exists.

Great dinner for our last night. My parents both said their meals were their favorites of the trip and both finished everything. Dad had the ribs and Mom the filet mignon salad. I had the Thai shrimp and curry and my husband the ribeye. He said the steak was good but too thin. It was cooked well. Drinks were good! We would go again for sure.

This is a lovely restaurant. We were there with 2 young children and they were very accommodating. We watched the sunset over the ocean and had some wonderful drinks and appetizers. Our server was great! Timing of the food to the table was perfect and her recommendations were spot on! We had a very memorable experience.

Last night, I celebrated my birthday dinner at Humuhumunukunukuāpuaʻa, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect—the food, the service, and the breathtaking scenery. I ordered the salmon, which was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. Every bite was a testament to the chef’s expertise. The staff were attentive and friendly, ensuring we felt welcomed and well cared for throughout the evening. The highlight, however, was the setting. Watching the sun set while sipping on pre-dinner cocktails was absolutely magical. The colors reflecting off the water created a serene and romantic atmosphere that perfectly complemented the dining experience. This was easily one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. I highly recommend Humuhumunukunukuāpuaʻa for anyone looking for a memorable night out. Whether it’s a special occasion or just a desire for amazing food and views, this place delivers on all fronts!

I would have come to Monkeypod every day of this vacation if I could have. The food and drinks are all such high quality and the service was amazing! Our favorites were the chicken wings, fish and chips, and the Monkeypod Mai Tai (the virgin Mai Tai was also great). Will definitely return our next time in Maui!
