Business Casual Dress Code is required. Window tables are limited and we cannot guarantee seating but will do our best to accommodate your request. At age the of 20, Chef Rafael moved with his wife to Cleveland, Ohio. His goal was to continue his Italian culinary skills which he acquired in the region of Verona, Italy.Chef Rafael was introduced to the restaurant industry at a very young age. His grandmother was very well known for her home-cooked dishes. She loved having her grandson with her as she cooked meals as soon as he was able to walk. He was six years old when he first learned how to make homemade pasta and, by age 14, he was ready to embark on his own culinary journey. His first stop was Verona, Italy,which was the setting for Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet. The romantic and rich architectural heritage of Verona was matched by the great culinary venues of that city and Chef Rafael's experience and skills grew exponentially. Three years later, Chef Rafael traveled to Belgium and France where he then experienced cooking French cuisine as well.

    We got drinks before dinner at the bar. I recommend The Red Stilleto. We ordered all appetizers instead of entrees. The large seafood tower was good. Shrimp cocktail, with large shrimp, raw oysters, raw tuna, Cajun scallops. Then we got the charcuterie board. Sopressetta, cheeses, olives, two dips, we got oysters Rockefeller, lump crab cakes and fried calamari. They have baby chibatta breads with butter. Our waiter was awesome. Shout out to Nicholas! Was an awesome date night. The piano was a nice addition to the ambiance. Low lighting, quiet, elegant. My husband wore black slacks and a cable knit sweater, I wore a sweater dress with boots. Loved it. Will be back.

    Best steak and king crab! Oysters were delicious! Christopher was an awesome server! Manager amazing as well, checking on us to make sure everything was above par. Overall amazing, thank you Rocco and staff!

    You cannot go wrong with anything you order at Bar Italia! We’ve been here a few times and it’s just amazing. Highly recommend the spicy vodka pasta and the short rib pesto arancini appetizer! Always enjoy the house sangria as well. Must try if you’re in the area!

    It was Valentine’s Day, so we knew it would be crazy busy. We should have requested an indoor table, the covered outdoor area was still chilly and way too packed. Our waitress was very friendly. She forgot my wine, but the experience was still very enjoyable. The food was absolutely amazing! It was pricey, but we knew that going in.
