Tim Zekki was born and raised in Cyprus but has lived and worked in the UK for 35 years. He has a passion for local and seasonal ingredients, sourcing sustainable produce and items that he forages in Somerset woodlands and along the coast. The food, as always was stunning and the service was perfect. The only thing that lets it down is the room temperature. It’s a cold building and although we were sat next to a heater no heat could be felt. After and hour or so we really began to feel the cold.

Great village pub. The food for the four of us was outstanding. Starters, mains and desserts were all of excellent quality. The beer (Nanook) was delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful and the pub itself is lovely. Couldn't fault it!

Had a really lovely Sunday lunch. I had the pork which was beautifully cooked but there was not enough of it which is a shame as it’s not an expensive meat compared to lamb and beef. My guests both had nut roast and it was good and plentiful. Service was a bit hit and miss but it was a busy Sunday lunchtime. Overall I Would recommend it.

Beautiful venue with excellent food and service. The blue cheese soufflé was excellent as well as the duck rendang. Desserts were very clever and well presented. We must go back the next time we are in Exeter.
