Great food and great service as always. We try to always eat at Gather when we are in Jackson

One of our go to places when we are in Jackson. The food is consistently very good. Service is amazing. The location on the square is great for an after dinner walk year round. The staff always makes us feel like family. Best oysters around!!! Moule frites....to die for. Worth every calorie.

John and the entire kitchen team went above and beyond to enable us to have another special dining experience. The food, drink and service was only surpassed by our time with family and friends during our visit. Thank you!

Great experience from beginning to end at Kampai. When we walked in we were greeted right away and then seated. We sat at the Sushi bar and had an awesome server who was very sweet and attentive. I love a good Old Fashion and love the variation in flavors, so the waiter recommended the Open Sesame cocktail which was perfect for this dining experience. We ordered the following items; Akami, Buri, Unagi and Seared Salmon Belly Sushi. We also ordered two Hand-rolls ;Sake Avocado and Spicy Scallop-Avocado and two full rolls; Gros Ventre and the Crypto. Our appetizer was the Gomae (spinach) and we had the Gindara( black cod) entree. Everything was delicious and prepared perfectly!!!!! We will definitely go back next time we are in town!

We visited II Villaggio Osteria on Christmas Eve and from the moment we walked in we were greeted with a pleasant and welcoming staff. The ambience was cozy, and our server was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu and answered all of our questions and provided recommendations based on our preferences. My family unanimously agreed that it was one of the best meals that we have ever had. We started with the rosemary roasted olives and the salumi tray (mouth-watering!). For entrees we had the pappardelle alla bolognese, the 12oz dry-aged rib eye and the bucatini cacio e pepe. My husband commented that the rib-eye was one of the best that he has ever had and the accompanying mushrooms and broccolini were a perfect match for the meat. My son and I loved the pasta! It literally melted in your mouth. For dessert we had the cheesecake with oreo crust and nutella. AMAZING! Everything was perfectly cooked and delicious. Highly recommend this wonderful establishment. We are visiting from Boston and wish that we could reincarnate this restaurant back at home as we would be loyal and lifelong patrons. Five stars!!!
