Restaurants near Glastonbury Meadows State Wildlife Area

Dinner was excellent, the service was excellent, and the wine choices were also excellent. This restaurant is very cozy and quiet. It almost makes you feel like you’re in a quiet restaurant in Cape Cod. I highly recommend the Saybrook Fish House. 

I love Sally's and have eaten here at least once a week since it's opening. I visited last night and they brought our starters and dinner at the same time. This happened once before. I made it a point on a previous visit that I wanted them to hold the dinner. Other times that wasn't required. I am not sure if it is the staff or the kitchen that creates this inconsistent experience. I recommend ordering your apps first and hold off on ordering dinner separately if this matters to you.

Although we had reservations we got seated with a little persistent kind of quickly. Unfortunately I felt really bad for the hostess she did as best as she could with what she could control. My biggest concern is that it’s literally been about 5 years since I’ve visited this location and reason being the place is over crowded to get in. I think for a well established restaurant that the management team would be more proficient. The  waitress we had was very friendly and lightened the mood from being frustrated. And with that said I really hope that Red Lobster can address and correct this matter. As I would like to return to my favorite restaurant. Sincerely Gary Wilson
