- HHeatherLos Angeles •12 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe arrived early and told the host we would be at the bar. The host called my phone 10 min before our reservation time, which I did not hear. At my reservation time I went to the host desk to which they said "oh! We've been calling you!" Then they sat us. Service was VERY slow. We weren't in a hurry, but everything was taking so long! We were sitting at our table for 2 hours and because so much time had passed, we decided to not get dessert for fear it would take another hour. In addition, when my baked potato came to the table, it was just above room temp. I didn't complain because it tasted great and I was afraid I might not see it again by the time I ate my steak. Usually we love the bar area, so in the future, we will likely just stay there. The bartenders are always great with service and an amazing attitude!More infoThe Sycamore Inn Prime Steak HousePrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Rancho Cucamonga•4.7
- MMichaelPalm Springs / Palm Desert Cities •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoA group of friends and I dined last night at the Magic Lamp Inn and I must say it lives up to its name because it was truly magical. The ambiance was so wonderful with the beautiful Christmas decorations, the gorgeous tiffany and stained-glass lamps, the fireplaces, the wonderful music and everything. It was like stepping back in time to the days of leather booths, nostalgic decor and wonderful food. The Filet Mignon melted in my mouth and the Chilean Sea Bass was out of this world! Further to the gorgeous restaurant there is a large garden area with Roman statues and lovely trees and sculptures...I felt transported across the ocean to Europe. Believe me it is worth making the trek to Rancho Cucamonga for a superb dining experience. It was so magical we did not want to leave! Thank you to the wonderful staff as well for taking such good care of us and to the entertaining magician who entertained us during the evening. We will be returning soon!More infoMagic Lamp InnPrice: Expensive• American• Rancho Cucamonga•4.1
