Restaurants near Front Street

We had an excellent meal at Artisan, one of the best meals we've eaten in TC. The ahi tuna appetizer matched the quality of recent meals in Hawaii, and the mac and cheese and duck with waffles were great. We can see why the soft cheesecake dessert is a menu staple. Keegan, our server, was exceptional, and has made us converts to Artisan. we look forward to coming back with friends.

The dinner was delicious and the walleye was outstanding. Our server did a great job. I will be sure to tell friends about our wonderful experience.

As always, a lovely spot to have lunch. Chef Morse oversees everything, making sure the students do a fabulous job. Charcuterie plate was especially nice, pate, figs, pickles, Leelanau Raclette, almonds, presented beautifully.

I visited NoBo during restaurant week. The food was wonderful. I started with Black Garlic Arancini. The serving was generous and delicious. My entree was Baramundi, a fish I’d enjoyed before. It was a lovely presentation with a very light citrus sauce that enhanced but didn’t overwhelm the fish. I particularly enjoyed the snap peas served alongside. For dessert I chose the Espresso Panna Cotta. I love coffee flavored desserts, so it was an obvious choice for me. All in all, a great meal.

Honestly I chose this place because I could get a reservation on Valentines Day but I was pleasantly surprised at how elegant it was with white tablecloths and napkins. We were seating right away even though we were early. Had an amazing crab appetizer , 6 oz filet and a chocolate cake to die for. Good service. We were never hurried although they were very busy. Loved this place and will return the next time we visit Traverse City.
