Very beautiful inside, great atmosphere. Service was great - didn’t have to wait long for food and drinks. All dishes we had were delicious. The octopus was outstanding! It was cooked correctly and came out very soft - no tough or chewy parts at all. Even my boyfriend who doesn’t eat octopus ended up eating half of the dish. Would come back here to try their desserts next time!

Our server, Hector, was stellar in every respect and added so much to the experience of dining. Chef surprised my husband, whose birthday we were celebrating, with a beautiful flan at the end. Ceviche was fresh and delicious with delicious corn tortillas I requested instead of tortilla chips. Portions were generous and had enough left over to take home.

From the initial booking to the picture taking at the end of our night… 11/10 hand down! Food and drinks were superb, service was perfect and the ambiance set the birthday celebration tone we needed. Cheers to The Matheson letting us HAVE it!!! Fabulous

Walked around the cozy, picturesque town of Healdsburg prior to our reservation. When we walked in the front door, they greeted up by name, took our coats and offered a delicious warm tea from the kitchen window. We next walked into the dining room and felt like we’d stepped into a beautiful restaurant in Japan. The table was already decorated and prepared with the first bites, arranged on miniature rock garden. Each dish, each course was fantastic. From the immaculate presentation, to the ingredients, the taste. It was amazing. Would recommend to anyone. And only when we were leaving, did I find out that it’s also a hotel, where you can stay in Healdsburg, not only for their dinner rezzies but also for breakfast delivered to your room. I’d totally forgotten about that part. It was all amazing.

Food was delicious! Particularly loved the focaccia bread.
