Grace, also known to the family as Mama, was a Sicilian woman born to immigrant parents in Louisiana. She had a flair for cooking, hospitality, and deep faith.She was known to make bread from scratch every Saturday for her legendary three-hour Sicilian Sunday lunches; and, her newly established family roots in Louisiana added interesting flavors to her home cooked meals. The entire Mandola family, including her five children and fourteen grandchildren, was regularly greeted in her home with smells of warm bread, well brewed sauces and homemade soups. Steak 48 is the best restaurant in Texas! I’ve been there many times but this time was the best of all. Nancy, our server, was amazing and offered the best service ever. The food was perfect as usual and drinks just perfect.

Hearsay at Levy Park delivers; excellent food, beautiful atmosphere, superb service (Norman), and a gorgeous park setting. This shouldn’t been a “hidden gem”. It has all of the parts necessary to be fantastic. Wishing them success on building a great following.

The service was perfect. The staff is obviously well trained and experienced. The food great and plentiful. We even stayed for coffee to wait out a rainstorm, no problems. I always love this place. I've never had anything less that a great experience there.
