Restaurants near Forest Village Park Mall Shopping Center

This was a short notice lunch meeting with a colleague and the right place.. good midday location, warm reception and awesome food. The lunch special was a great deal, but we veered off to get additional food items. The menu is an eye catching experience. You want to try everything. My first experience with Oysters Rockefeller made me a convert for sure. This is a keeper and highly recommended. We’ll be back for sure 👍🏾

It started out rocky due to a late opening they did not open until 10:30 which was very stressful considering we had 10 kids with us. But once it was open the front desk staff was great. Our waiter was responsive overall my son and his friends enjoyed themselves. They need to open on time.

I was there for a small business meeting, and it was a perfect casual setting. The food was exquisite, and the menu is very unique. Everyone said, they will be returning again for the food. I had a perfect cooked salmon, and I could not believe the flavor and all salmon eaters know that it can be a problem to get a perfect cooked, moist and seasoned salmon. My guest was impressed with the gumbo, a little spicy but she hate it all. If you have never had a kale salad, please try it there, delicious. A great experience from a hard to please foody. This was the best Tex Mex we’ve had in DC. The cheese and bean enchiladas were so delicious, and the guacamole was unique and also very good. The refried beans were definitely the best of any of the Mexican restaurants in the area. Love this place. We’ll definitely be back.

The server was really nice and mannerable although it took a while to receive our meal. The food was so so; my Salmon and Broccoli were overcooked, which was a bummer! So, I probably won't be back for a while.
