Restaurants near Football Team Practice Fields

Sooo happy to have a legit high-end steakhouse in Eugene. Our second visit, both times have been excellent. The steaks are fantastic and perfectly cooked. My husband and daughter both had NY strips with house sauce and I had a filet “Oscar” with Dungeness crab and bernaise sauce. One of the yummiest things I have eaten in a long time. Butter lettuce salad was delicious, daughter’s Dungeness crab cocktail was full and fresh. Creamed corn and baked potato sides both terrific. Butter cake for dessert was amazing. Drinks were the weakest link. Of the 5 drinks we bought, 2 were A+, one was a B+ and one was a disappointing C. Overall our server was excellent (Chris), though when it got busy it was hard to get his attention for additional sauces, etc. which was a little frustrating. Maybe have someone circulate more often to check on those easy deliverables? In total, a terrific experience and a delectable meal. We will definitely be back!

Amazing service by all staff, but especially by Ellie. She was attentive and personable, checking in often to ensure all our needs were met. Her attention to detail made our special evening, my husband’s retirement celebration, even more memorable. Side note: the wood smoked cocktails (my husband chose the Flamed Orange Old Fashioned) were fascinating and delicious. I also appreciate that we could bring our own special bottle of wine and drink it with a small corkage fee.

We have lived in Albany since 2005, and only recently in the last year, discovered the vault. Over the years we had heard of this fine restaurant during casual conversations with people, so finally we decided to find out what kind of place it was and we’re pleasantly surprised at how nice and cozy the restaurant is. More than that the drinks are fabulous, the service is excellent and the food is amazing. I love the Brussels, the salmon and fish dinners are amazing with perfect presentation… but my husband loves the brisket burger the most. I highly recommend The Vault for all occasions. You will not be disappointed!!

Had an early dinner on Christmas Eve, and enjoyed every part of the meal. We had a Caesar salad, fish and chips, and a NY steak. Both entrees were delicious, and the salad was fantastic (super fresh and the dressing was bright and flavorful). Service was great, everyone working seemed to be actually enjoying their jobs (even on a holiday!).

The service and the food were excellent. The noise level was a bit high due to the open floor plan but the ambiance was very comfortable. We will be back.
