We celebrated my husband’s birthday with friends and shared an amazing meal and dining experience. Everyone loved it and enjoyed every bite. Pricey place but for a special occasion, so worth it. We would recommend every dish we had including the fresh made Ceasar (table side), crispy brussel sprouts, cauliflower au gratin, scallops, shrimp, mushrooms, tomahawk steak, chicken ballotine, crème brulee, and chocolate cake. Service was outstanding and ambience was spectacular. Without a doubt, the best meal we have ever had. Highly recommend.

Excellent Birthday Supper We live a ten-minute walk from Ironwood Kitchen. We believe in supporting local businesses. From the minute you walk in the door, you immediately feel welcome. The atmosphere and ambiance are exceptional, given the restaurant is located in a strip mall. The bicycle lights over the tables are really unique. Ok, now for the food. We started with the our favourite local craft beer along with the St. Brigid’s Brie with toasted Focaccia bread, Rhubarb, Herbs, and Berries. Honestly, I could eat this every week. My spouse had deep fried Banana Flowers with frites; I had the Lake Erie Pickerel. Both main courses were savoury, flavourful, and cooked to order. Wonderfully done!! To finish I had coffee and My Spouse had the house cheesecake. I received my own personal slice of Birthday Cake with a candle set on a board with “Happy Birthday” written in chocolate. I scraped the chocolate and enjoyed it all thoroughly. If you have a special occasion to celebrate (Birthday, Anniversary, Retirement) - look no further.

The Greek salad was amazing. Definitely worth a try. Souvlaki also very good. Beautiful seasonal decorations. Worth a visit!

Dinner was great. We had the Spinach Dip with fried Pita which was a great appetizer to get us started. Our server was prompt and she brought a great energy to her work, when our original drinks were finished she quickly brought us another drink (we order soft drinks) and the drinks came in a larger glass to accommodate our quick pace of finishing the drinks. I ordered the 10oz Steak with a loaded baked potato, steamed brocoli, and a creamy crab sauce with shrimp to go with the steak. She ordered the Chicken Parmesan with Fettuccine and Alfredo and Garlic Toast. We both enjoyed our meals which came out quickly and hot. My steak was ordered medium rare, and it was cooked excellently, quite honestly it was surprisingly good and likely is the best steak I have eaten at a restaurant in quite some time. The service was great, the food was excellent, and overall the experience was magnificent. 10/10 recommend the Gammage Street Kelsey's Location in London. FYI, this was 8pm on a Friday when the restaurant was quite full, so you know the staff as a whole is on point to provide this great quality of service while slammed.
