Amuse is a seasonal, farm to table driven restaurant, located on the third floor of the museum.     I recently had the pleasure of experiencing afternoon tea at Floris at VFMA, and it was an absolutely delightful affair. The sweet and savory menu items were a perfect balance of flavor, and the selection of teas complemented the dishes beautifully. Each bite and sip felt like a moment to savor. The ambiance at Floris was equally impressive—the seating was both comfortable and elegant, creating an inviting atmosphere that truly enhanced the experience. The staff equally warm and inviting. A personal highlight for me was the cucumber sandwiches. They were wonderfully fresh and flavorful—so good that I found myself wishing for more! Floris exceeded my expectations, and I can’t wait to return for another memorable dining experience. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a refined and relaxing afternoon tea!

    Still, a high point of Richmond dining. We hadn't been in a while and were delighted to discover that "under new management," Can Can is better than ever. Excellent French-inspired menu, quality prep and a welcoming, professional staff. We were pleased to see Lauren captaining the reception desk, and our server, Chelsea, was attentive and cheerful. It's not easy finding a good hollandaise in Richmond, let alone an edible baguette, but Can Can delivers on both counts. Can't wait to return.
