I have been many times with girlfriends for lunch so this is the first time with my husband for lunch. We both had appetizers and then dessert which was plenty for us two seniors . The only complaint was the noise level…it was really high and since my husband wears hearing aids it was hard to take. Food was fantastic!

I keep going back to Hondo's because they always meet or exceed my expectations. Steaks prepared exaactly how they were ordered and the sides are well prepared and tasty as well, The Caesar Salad dressing is a bland and could use a little "kick". Wine list is good and cocktails are made correctly. All of this makes me go back to Hondo's.

In a word——Impressive‼️👍 1st visit and took advantage of the Senior Menu! Thank you! I commented on the res, we hoped for a “quiet” table to accommodate our hearing impaired friend. A woman approached me at the door, mentioned my request and showed us to the PERFECT place… the patio. From that point on we had a great friend s holiday meal, service galore, all 4 said their food was excellent And there aren t words or space to list all the factors that made our evening SPECIAL. LOVE THE fire pits out on the patio. this will be my requested space from now on.

I don’t usually write reviews but I figured I’d share my experience here. I was a little nervous seeing all the recent yelp reviews before I came here but honestly, the service was excellent. Drinks arrived within a few minutes, which were surprisingly cheap, anytime you needed something there was always someone around to ask, and we didn’t have to wait long for the bill. The food was good, and even though I wish the filet came around more often, every time I asked for it, it made its appearance, and was delicious. All of the meat was good, but not noticeably better or worse than Texas de Brazil. I only had one piece that was a little over salted, I know some of the bad reviews had mentioned that, and I definitely had my fair share of meat. It was decorated so nicely for Christmas, and as we were leaving the host was sweet enough to take our picture by the tree. Also, we had a kid in a high chair and they sweetly brought out French fries without us even asking for them. The last thing that was the cherry on top for us was one of the servers asked if we were celebrating anything, and we were all friends just catching up really, but my friend joked that we were there celebrating 13 years of friendship. They ended up bringing a lit candle with that written on a plate! It was so sweet and they really went above and beyond. Honestly, I was surprised at the bad reviews because I would come here asap because of how great the service was. Now we did come on a Monday night at 6pm, and I’m sure it’s not as good on a crazy weekend night, but if you’re looking for a nicer place and a fun experience, this place nails it. Worth the money to try it!
