- OTOpenTable DinerToronto / Ontario •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoKale salad with pine - refreshing and tasty Calamari - crispy and perfectly cooked Grilled Octopus - amazing flavour but came out on the colder side Braised beef pasta - sauce was really good but pasta texture was hard and came to table at room temperature. Expected this dish to be on the hot side but wasn’t so. While all the dishes we ordered tasted amazing, the temperature of the food was a bit disappointing. I like my food hot especially on a cold night. After pointing this out to our server Tiago, he immediately took it back and brought us a fresh plate that was nice and hot. They proceeded to offer us free dessert which was much appreciated. All in all the food is very good but the service from Tiago was even better. Will definitely be going back!More infoGusto 501Price: Moderate• Italian• King East•4.6
- LLianToronto / Ontario •3 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoOnce again, an incredible experience! I came from DC to Toronto for a few days, and of course, I had to come back to Daphne to try the lunch menu and hopefully see your wonderful manager, Amanda. I had a busy day and decided to go to lunch alone. Luckily, Amanda was there! She remembered me, exactly what she recommended last visit, and which dishes were my favourite — her memory and intellect are truly impressive. Based on what I had already tried, my palette preferences, and hunger level, she recommended two dishes for me, the Tuna Carpaccio and the Tomato and Persimmon Salad. Both were fantastic and satisfied my mid-day cravings. I left feeling energized and satiated. Amanda also checked in on me throughout my meal, keeping me just enough company, which I really appreciated since I was dining alone. The way that she conducts herself showcases a high level of interpersonal skills and intuition as she initiated the perfect degree of conversation, which is quite rare. A lunch experience is seldom noteworthy, but somehow Amanda finds a way to make it so. Thanks again for a lovely meal! I’ll be back on Saturday to bring all my friends to try the delicious food and to meet Amanda!More infoDaphnePrice: Very Expensive• American• Financial District•4.7
- SspencervipToronto / Ontario •44 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoNewly opened Greek Famous seafood restaurant. Very best in town. Cooking are good and delicious. Great selection of seafoods from around the world. Uses best ingredients to cook. Only setback is that they do not allow wine corkages! That’s a big deterrent for wine lovers! We don’t mind paying a fee to bring our favorite wine to enjoy with a good meal! Need improvementMore infoEstiatorio Milos - TorontoPrice: Very Expensive• Seafood• Financial District•4.5
- MmaynvipMontreal / Quebec •10 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWe went for dinner and celebrated my nephews bday, and the service, ambiance, history of the building and most importantly, the food was superb. We started with burrata and prosciutto, funghi salad, calamari and carpaccio.. all amazing, baratta was a crowd favourite, mine was the funghi salad. Second were the pizzas, we had the sausage pizza and the goat cheese aubergine pizza…. Simply amazing, third were the pasta.. the bolognese was so delicious along with the mushroom prosciutto.. just wow. And pls have their desserts! The tiramisu and the affogato were so amazing. Will definitely go back. And not to forget their incredible wine selection !! Must tryMore infoTerroni AdelaidePrice: Expensive• Italian• Financial District•4.5
- PPeterToronto / Ontario •1 review5.0Dined on 20 Nov 2024A warm and inviting space, humming with conversation, almost full at 7:00 pm. Service was brisk, prompt and friendly: no delays, good guidance. Salads and apps tasty and peppy. Mains hot with good flavours. Drinks good variety; house wine sold by the ounce: nice - more places should follow this example. Will go again.More infoCafé ZUZUPrice: Moderate• Italian• Cabbagetown•4.6
