Good experience. Steak had a nice char and very tender. Service was good. Ambience good. Music could have been different and softer. The sides should have been served hot. BUT overall very good.

We ended our trip in Mérida with dinner here and it couldn’t have been more perfect. We shared the ribs for two, and it was beautifully presented and delicious. Our host provided us with a tour after our meal, and service was excellent

We had a group of six, had multiple appetizers, entrees and a variety of cocktails and desserts. Found it to be excellent all the way around. Outstanding service as well.

El Lagarto de Oro is a very good spot. Chill & welcoming vibe, friendly service (Thank You Carol), good beer list, and a delicious menu. We enjoyed their Salpicon de Chicarra con Pulpo a la Longaniza.
