Restaurants near Embassy Suites Palm Desert Resort

Expected Valentine’s Day weekend to be very busy and hectic, we had a 6pm reservation and arrived on time. We only had to wait about 5 minutes before being taken to our table. Service was superb and did not feel rushed to finish our meals. Food was delicious. We ordered steak, shrimp, calamari, salad, mashed potatoes, and my favorite was the sweet potato casserole. We ordered a total of four drinks which were all 10/10. We took our desserts home and the cream brûlée hit just right later that night. Heard a couple entitled people complaining, they should have just stayed home. Our server and management checked on us several times and made sure we had the best experience.

We were seated at our reservation time. Since it was Valentine’s day We were surprised to see a full menu. They had a fantastic girl doing nothing but checking on helping and getting the tables ready for the next party . Food is always great at Mitch’s . We both had the Lake Superior White fish. Best i ever had . Not overloaded with almond flavor or other sauces. Lot of Great restaurants in the Desert, in town for a few days definitely try Mitch’s and they have the best Sushi of any i have tried .

Our Valentine's dinner was perfect from start to finish. Initial service was prompt as we were seated and our wine arrived in short order. The strawberry bruschetta appetizer was a nice touch. We followed with a Caesar salad ,nice and fresh with an anchovy garnish. We opted for medium rare Steak entrees garnished with Brussel sprouts and fingerling potatoes. Perfect. The environment is casual dining and a lively ambience. The staff are very friendly and make you feel welcome and appreciated.

The service was outstanding. Our hostess and wait staff made our Anniversary and my birthday a very special evening. I had the lobster and it was delicious. It’s my favorite food. That’s why we picked Eddies out from Open Table. The added champagne, little hearts, deserts with beautifully written tribulations and fire dipped flare was spectacular! Eddie V’s classy and lovely ambiance and delightful staff made our night wonderful and memorable.

This is a charming restaurant that you must try. Great food, amazing wait staff and the ambiance is beyond amazing.
