We reserved a table for two for my birthday. This was a very upscale dinner, and they even accommodated us a table with a view due to the occasion which I really appreciated. we had the crab cake, and ahi tuna appetizer both were delicious! The crab cake was the best I’ve had definitely not your typical deep fried bready crab puck this was very flavorful and mainly crab and the ahi tuna was well dressed and had a nice texture. For our main coarse we both got a prime rib and lobster tail. Their creamed spinach side dish greatly exceeded my expectations. The lobster was melt in your mouth good, lobster tends to be tougher if not done well and this was perfectly cooked! Their Zero proof drink menu was very tasteful as well. The peach palmer was my favorite that we tried. Due to the occasion our waitress brought us a nice little birthday dessert. I was really impressed with the service, they were attentive and knowledgeable and she read us like a book anticipating our every need which was amazing. I will def be recommending this spot to family and friends. It was a perfect night.

We hadn’t been to Stokes for about six months and it did not disappoint. The food and service were excellent. We had a lovely evening.

Hands down, there is no finer restaurant on Fishermans Wharf in Monterey, CA. From our appetizer to our dessert, our dinner was exquisite! Our server, Tara, was fantastic in every way. She was friendly and made menu recommendations for us to consider based on what guests at her other tables were raving about earlier in the evening. We were treated as if we were the only diners in the restaurant. The food she delivered to our table was artfully arranged and worthy of taking numerous photos to remember this most perfect dining experience.

First time to Schooners and we all enjoyed it so much! Great view, good service and excellent food. We went in for a late lunch. Enjoyed the focaccia and seafood tostada for starters. Crab pasta, crab blt and cioppino were all delicious! Will definitely return.
