Our menu development team and our executive chef have trained, worked, and immersed themselves in Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument restaurant, where The Backyard was born in 2020. We tailor our approach to align with local preferences. Our executive chef and front leader have dedicated over two decades to serving this community. In August 2022, The Backyard found its home here. In November 2023, we introduced lalc Restaurant & Bar (The Backyard) to reflect our Los Angeles origins and local approaches. We select ingredients that are organic, all-natural, and non-GMO, no added hormones, and no antibiotics. We source locally, opting to fresh and house made options. We utilize as few ingredients as possible.

    After spending some time in Spain, we missed the traditional Spanish food and Telefèric provided a place to enjoy that once more. The tapas, wine and sangria we had were delicious and we can’t wait to come back for more. The hosts were great, service was great and the ambience was great. Thank you for making this a great outing for my family and I.

    The waiter was very professional and well versed and experienced. The Halibut was a little dry but the 3 other meals were perfect. The seafood pasta was light in sauce and not overwhelming like other places. Just right and not too creamy. Salads were amazing Pricing was a little high mostly due to high alcohol costs. for example, the Rombauer should NOT be $40 a glass when you can buy a bottle of it at the store for that. We had 3 drinks and 4 cmplete meals without appetizers for $519. You can compare from there.

    Great little restaurant in Seoul Beach. Seems we could use a little love. Clam chowder was amazing , fish and chips were good. It was a huge portion and the barbecue ribs were excellent. Our server she was so good sweet lovely lady.
