We happened upon Jags by pure happenstance tonight, the night before Thanksgiving, while traveling to family for the holiday. We were stuck in traffic on 75N and decided we didn’t have it in us to make it all the way to Fort Wayne. 11 hours for a normal 6.5 hour trip is just ridiculous. We booked the Staybridge and I booked a bar reservation at Jags thanks to reviews here, not even realizing it was in the same parking lot! What a fortunate surprise! From walking in the door, to our experience with Dan and his colleague, a lovely gal with rooster earrings, but I can’t recall her name for the life of me, everything was absolutely phenomenal!! The crab bisque, filet and crab cake, the sides, the CARROT CAKE! The espresso martini the Weller CYPB…all of it top notch! Don’t even hesitate or question it. Just go!

Always great food and this time exceptional service. A great restaurant for a special occasion or a place to casually enjoy half off wine night!

The food quality was excellent, per usual. We were a large family group (myself, my husband, my teenage & young adult children, and my mom who is visiting from out of state) and everyone loved their food. The seafood night on Tuesday is a great value! Our server, Taylor, was attentive & friendly. Some of us shared a giant slice of carrot cake for dessert and it was one of the best desserts I have ever had. I thought my teenage son was going to lick the plate!

We had a reservation and it was crowded but we were seated right away. Drink order came pretty quickly - I wish you offered an option of 2 wine pour sized. I had the chopped salad with chicken - ordered dressing on the side and came as ordered. Good mix of ingredients in the salad but chicken portion was small - maybe 3 oz. Club sandwich was well stacked. Staff was friendly, watered refilled often, service prompt for such a busy night.
