We had lunch reservations for our 47th anniversary. We were immediately seated on arrival, and promptly greeted by our server Mark. He was happy to be part of our celebration, and shared his favorite recommendations on the menu. So many choices! We had spaghetti with Sunday Sauce, butternut squash ravioli, veal cutlets, salad wedge, freshly baked bread, and of course, wine. Everything was delicious. We had an excellent special occasion dinner (birthday) at Al-Posto in Hyde Park Square. The burrata and focaccia appetizer was especially good, as was the arancini appetizer. We had an early reservation just as they opened at 5 p.m., and this was wonderful for being able to hear each other easily. It didn't really start filling up and getting noisy until 6, when we were nearly finished. The service was attentive and very professional.

My wife and I dined here for the first time ever. We went in with big expectations due to the reviews and national acclaim. We were absolutely not disappointed. The food was incredibly delicious, with levels of rich flavor. Steak was perfectly cooked and the additional add on Mac and Cheese was exceptional. If you're going to the Precinct, you have to get a steak and they do NOT disappoint. Alec and Lizzie attended to us and did an exceptional job. They both were warm, quick and inviting. This was my birthday and Alec made us feel seen and appreciated in a way I don't feel any restaurant ever has. Anytime our glass of water would get remotely low, Lizzie was there to fill. Both of them provided incredible service, each with a glowing smile on their face and made the entire experience feel just that - an experience. I went in with mild anxiety that it wouldn't be up to the lofty standards I had built it to be, but The Precinct blew that away.

Celebrated daughter’s 51st BD. Bad weather, 2 wrecks close by, busy night. We asked for a booth in the bar area. We actually find it easier to have conversation there vs main dining area. Like this restaurant. Last here for granddaughter’s graduation. Anyway, great time at dinner. Brittany R waited on us. Extremely pleasant. Just an enjoyable experience.
