- CCarolSan Francisco Bay Area •2 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoReally great experience! I didn’t pay for the food, so I’m not sure about the value. Our server was great, but she forgot a few things which is a little annoying. But overall, I really like her she made our experience better. - NNamrataSan Francisco Bay Area •9 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoI hadn’t been to Evvia in years and it was so great to go back. My friend and I shared a bunch of appetizers: meatballs, octopus, roasted beets and the butternut squash. The octopus was fantastic as were the meatballs. We each had a glass of wine and the whole meal was $100. Will definitely do that again.More infoEvviaPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• Palo Alto•4.8
- JjohnvipSan Francisco Bay Area •87 reviews4.0Dined 7 days agoWonderfully inventive food - not your traditional Indian restaurant. The the papadam were especially impressive. Slightly haphazard service - made worse by the incredibly high noise level - everybody was shouting to be able to hear one another, which just made it worse. We chose to eat a mix of starter plates, which gave us a rich variety of tastes. But they all arrived at about the same time, so there wasn't space on the table for them., and the experience felt very rushed. Even though we hadn't ordered any mains ("big plates"), the items we ordered that would normally accompany them (naan, raita) were treated as the second course - we had to ask for them to be brought with the rest of the food. We visited in mid November. It was really cold, even though we were sitting indoors - and many fellow diners also kept their coats on, so it wasn't just us..More infoROOH Palo AltoPrice: Expensive• Contemporary Indian• Palo Alto•4.2
- EElizabethvipSan Francisco Bay Area •27 reviews5.0Dined on 2 Nov 2024We arrived and were promptly seated for 7:45pm Saturday reservation . Our server, Cathy, is a longtime employee and is very professional as well as gracious. My husband & I ordered the Tagliatelle Bolognese and Polo Al Funghi. Both were delicious. We shared a Caesar salad & 9 oz Pinot Grigio. We miss the counter seating where we could observe the chefs close up. When weather permits we love the front patio seating where our 2 Frenchies are welcome.More infoIl Fornaio - Palo AltoPrice: Moderate• Italian• Palo Alto•4.5
