The Christmas decor was absolutely beautiful. The lamb was delicious!

Quality Service . Our waiter was Excellent she took her time and explained the menu as this was my first time experiencing African Cuisine. Food was Bomb! Drinks were 10 out of 10 Atmosphere was Amazing, very grown and sexy.

My friend and I dined in the outdoor eating space at Iron Gate where there were impressive fires burning next to each table. We were snug and warm. Our waiter was so welcoming we relaxed and relied on his advice while ordering. Our food was amazing from the tasty welcome dish through the main dish and two delicious desserts. The young woman at the front door went beyond her duties to help us add a second ride to our taxi order. We plan many return visits!

We had breakfast at the Tabard Inn because it looked like a unique hotel that I wanted to check out, and it was within walking distance from where I was staying. The hotel was charming and unique in its eclectic furnishings. The dining room was quiet. The breakfast was almost half what I paid at the Jefferson Hotel the day before and twice as good. I had eggs over easy. I asked for my bacon well done. It was cooked to perfection and one of the best orders of bacon I ever had. The biscuit and hash browns, which were more like roasted potatoes, were delicious. The service was attentive but not overbearing. I would return the next time I'm in DC.

The manager stopping by after each course to ensure we were happy was a thoughtful touch that elevated the experience even further. If you’re visiting DC, I can’t recommend Dauphine’s enough. Whether you’re a lover of Creole cuisine or just looking for an incredible meal, this restaurant is a must-visit. Five stars all the way!
