- KKaylanAtlanta Metro •2 reviews5.0Dined todayI decided to give this restaurant a try after hearing raving reviews from other locals, and let me just start by saying it’s even better than the hype. I took my husband here for his birthday and we thoroughly enjoyed the night. The great location on the corner made it easy to find in the busy Dallas streets and the valet gentlemen were friendly and ready to take the car making it a smooth transition. I enjoyed the ambiance from the time you step into the elevator all the way to entering the restaurant. We had reservations so there was no wait time. I appreciated the hostess wishing my husband a happy birthday upon seating us and making sure we were comfortable at our table. There was a happy birthday card from the entire Dakota staff with roses already at the table giving it a special touch. The star of our night though was our waiter Brian L. He genuinely took care of us and made the night so special. It was our first time visiting and he elaborated on the drink menu options available. After picking our drinks, he walked us through the menu thoroughly and recommended for us to try the 4 course tasting. He informed us we wouldn’t have to stress about what to choose from the menu and it did not disappoint. We agreed and he asked us a few questions to figure out what we liked. Brian communicated effectively with the chef to deliver some of the most heavenly food imaginable. My husband and I like extremely different foods and the chef was still able to accommodate us both. As every course was brought to the table, Brian was present and ready to inform us about all dishes presented. It is evident that he is passionate about what he does, knowledgeable about the menu, and has an exquisite palate as well. His infectious personality was the cherry on top. My husband and I rated every steakhouse we have been to and Dakota’s is definitely number one on our list. When our family comes in town to visit we will are certainly bringing them here for the experience as well.More infoDakota’s Steakhouse- Downtown DallasPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Downtown•4.9

- DDrewVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •17 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoTruly delectable. Salads are huge and should be split 2 or 3 ways. The five of us each ordered a different entree and each was very happy with our choice. Pasta dishes are small enough that, if ravenous, I could have eaten a meat course too in true Italian style.More infoLa Stella Cucina VeracePrice: Very Expensive• Italian• Arts District•4.8
- RReginaldVIPHouston •8 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoI took my girlfriend here for her birthday and was recommended this restaurant. First, I will start out with the drinks. I ordered a Moscow Mule and my gf ordered the eggnog martini and followed up with an expresso martini. The Moscow mule was ehh and my gf didn’t enjoy her eggnog martini (I liked it lol). The expresso martini was a step up from the eggnog martini for her, but where the drinks left a void, the food easily filled it. For appetizers, she ordered the deviled eggs and I order the smoked salmon. Both of the starters were so good. I really could have just ordered the salmon and been happy lol. For entrees, I ordered the YB Nashville Hot Chicken with Brussels at the side and she ordered the fresh catch of the day, which were crab cakes, with mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese. She absolutely loved the crab cakes and the mashed potatoes. The Mac and cheese, she wasn’t the biggest fan of. Overall, I would say the food was amazing. The design of the restaurant is easily one of our favorites to ever dine in. The interior design is so beautiful and enhances the dining experience. Oh!! And the birthday dessert was amazing! It was a cookies & cream ice cream scoop with three fried Oreos. It made me feel as if I was back home in Alabama for a second lol. We will definitely be back to dine again in the near future. Thank you Yardbird for helping make my girlfriend’s birthday one to remember!More infoYardbird Table & Bar - DallasPrice: Expensive• Contemporary Southern• Dallas-Ft. Worth (DFW) Corridor•4.7
