- PPaulineVIPEdmonton / Northern Alberta •9 reviews5.0Dined on 10 Jan 2025One of the best meals I’ve ever had and I’ve eaten at 1-3 star Michelin restaurants, at Four Seasons restaurants over the past 25+ years and many other restaurants, bistros, cafes and holes-in-the-wall along the way. This is by far the best sushi/sashimi/sake experiences I’ve ever had and in the top 3 meals I’ve ever had. Dinner was our last night in Tokyo, after 18 days in Asia. It was for me and my son (23). Small, intimate restaurant (maybe 20 seats?!). We sat at the counter and ordered the tasting menu with sake tasting/pairing. Each course was better than the next. The hospitality was inviting and the service was impeccable. The room was discreet. I cannot speak more highly about this dining experience. Run, don’t walk. Make it a stop every time you go to Tokyo. It’s that good. Thank you to the team for a very special night.More infoSushi Takaya (Former Kutani)Price: Very Expensive• Sushi• Ginza•4.8

- LLesleyHouston •3 reviews5.0Dined on 29 Dec 2024Very expensive, but then its Kobe Steak. Spartan private cubicle each, excellent service. Ordered al la cart- 400g ribeye about$350……ordered nigiri , one rice, one fries , 3 glasses wine….. bill about$500 We felt the wine was a small amount, and the “veg “ that we paid extra for was absurdly small.. It was all about the experience of eating Kobe steak and we loved it as it was a very special occasion. More info神戸牛511Price: Very Expensive• Unspecified• Akasaka / Tameikesanno•4.8
- GGabrielRaleigh / Durham / Chapel Hill •31 reviews5.0Dined on 27 May 2024Tasty high end steak house menu with Japanese touches. Appetizers fresh light and subtle. Wagyu filet expertly prepared with lovely pepper demiglaze. High point were the wine list and cocktails- gin and vodka martini with perfect proportions and presented in elegant stemware! Service was top notch with knowledge sommelier Kazu..More infoRRR otemachi Kobebeef&WinePrice: Moderate• Unspecified• Nishishinbashi•5
