Great food as always. Warm welcome and excellent service from staff. There is always a good range of dishes on the menu. I had the pork steak with black pudding, carrots and a creamy mash side and it was delicious. Hubby had the burger which was equally good. Love the atmosphere here too. Been here 5 times now - on different days and times of the week and throughout the seasons - and it never disappoints. Will be back again soon.

This restaurant was recommended so we travelled the 40 minutes to get to it. The staff on arrival were really smiley and welcoming. The service was prompt and again all the staff were smiley. They were able to give good recommendations as to the different sauces with the lobster. The food was delicious including the salad that came with it. We sat in the conservatory which was comfortable and warm. Price wise we were surprised that it wasn’t as expensive as I would have imagined especially as we both had lobster. Altogether a great experience. We will be back

Excellent lunch and fantastic value. 4 adult main meals, one children's meal, large wine, vodka n orange, 2 pints of coke and a fruit shoot, £77 in total 👍🏻👍🏻

Great service from really friendly ( But understaffed and over worked) Food was not very hot . But quite tasty
