Restaurants near Courtyard by Marriott New York Manhattan/Chelsea

Our meal was very good. We only had a party of two, which is a bit of a challenge for a restaurant where food is served family-style. For most people, an entree can easily serve two people. If you are light eaters, perhaps even three. We shared a chicken scalloping in lemon butter sauce ($32). The chicken was very tender, and the sauce was good enough to dip bread in. The dish also had a bed of sautéed spinach below the chicken. We also shared a mixed greens salad ($30) which was HUGE. It could easily serve 4 people. The salad was a nice mixture of greens with tomatoes, onions, cucumbers, pepperoncinis, and olives in their house Italian dressing. My only complaint is why they would put pitted olives in a salad. Not that hard to pick out and eat individually, but it would be possible to scoop one up with some lettuce and bite into it without knowing. The servers seemed to work very hard, though the number of tables they had meant it was a tad slow. The vibe was very good, and everyone seemed to be having a good time. We will definitely keep Carmine’s on our list for future New York trips, especially if we are in groups larger than two.

I have a lot of food allergies and sensitivities, and our waiter and the chef were very attentive and created a delicious meal that I could enjoy! We will definitely return! Highly recommend!

I had a fantastic experience at Nubeluz. Lindsey was a phenomenal wait staff. I proposed at this establishment and she was there to cater to every need. I’d recommend her for friendliness and attentiveness every time.

Thanksgiving: where do I start? Touching all senses from the ambiance to the minimalistic modern yet eclectic decor all on point. The attentive service made it really feel special. Particularly since it’s a holiday evening and it’s a special night out. It truly felt that way. Bradly, The Somalia was not only so knowledgeable, but charming and engaging.  first course was all of my favorite things, but what stood out was every fresh note of the hummus with pomegranate seeds. Paired with a crop pine sap white wine. Followed by the fresh crisp combination of apples, fresh greens cranberry pomegranate, crème fraîche. The flavors were literally dancing. Third course, falafel with cilantro, tomatoes, mint, and a bunch of other goodness ! And if you’re looking for a unique turkey experience, definitely try the turkey mixed with wild mushroom compote wrapped in Filo dough served on hummus with steamed vegetables!!! OUTSTANDING ❤️

Great service! Delicious food! Love this place. Was there for a late lunch so fairly quiet. Highly recommended!!!
