The krō bär is an eclectic bar with a speakeasy vibe and a passion for spirits and great food with a nod to another era. Tucked away on Main Street in Bothell, a walkable neighborhood teaming with local art, culture and food, the artfully handcrafted krō bär has been reclaimed from the bones of Bothell’s historic hardware store in the Mohn building. The 16-foot-high tin ceilings, a hanging catwalk and the original wood floors were uncovered and restored.     As always, the food was phenomenal, the service (Dan and Cayden) were attentive, personable, and outright wonderful. Our ONLY issue was that there was an event going on upstairs that was so loud and obnoxious that I couldn't hear my own wife talking right next to me. The staff did what they could, but, as it was explained to us, given the separation between the two components (events and restaurant), the restaurant staff doesn't have any actual control over the events. If you're making a reservation, it is worth calling to ensure that they don't have an event going on upstairs at the same time.
