Restaurants near Columbine Ranger Station

Dined last night for our wedding day. Everything was impeccable!! The view, the service, the music, the food, the carpaccio melted in my mouth! Thank you! Thank you!!

Jacob was a great server. Food was outstanding. Ambience is unmatched!

Purgy's can be hit or miss with slow service, but we had a pleasant experience tonight. Our party of 3 ordered 2 burgers with fries and Chicken Saltimbocca along with a cocktail and pint of a red ale on draft. All were cooked well and arrived quickly. The beer was great, the cocktail not so much. We have not had the best luck with the cocktails here. They taste like chemicals and are overpriced. The best part of Purgy's is undoubtedly the view. The servers are friendly and mostly attentive as long as the restaurant isn't crowded.

Everything was awesome besides our server. He came across as very arrogant. He’s the sommelier at the Peaks as well and was extremely snooty. Service was fine, but his attitude was average at best. Everything else was spectacular.

One of our favorite things to do when visiting Purgatory is lunch at Dante’s Backside Bistro. It gets crowded at lunch but the staff are lovely humans and the food is yum. Thank you Austin and Sebastian for a great lunch experience yet again!!
