The Ruxton will serve a mix of wet and dry aged prime cuts of Black Angus Beef, as well as dry aging Long Island Duck and Bison from Virginia’s New Frontier Farm in-house. Glad you changed the dress code, more adult. Service was a bit slow receiving the check, but server had too many tables to cover. Otherwise service was good. Had a 7:30 reservation , was not seated until 7:50.

My crab cake dinner was well prepared and quite delicious. The server was very courteous, attentive, professional, efficient and proficient. The ambience in the Rusty Scupper was very nice and the restaurant's window table view of the beautiful Inner Harbor at night was quite magical.

Lots of extra little touches that made the dishes special: the foamy mignonette on the oysters, the crunchy bites and pickled mushrooms on the beef tartare. Pre-pandemic, table side dishes such as classic Caesar salad and duck a la presse were on the menu- we can understand not having them all the time, but hopefully they’re not gone for good.
