Dining at The Old Inn on the Green is an extraordinary experience: fine wine, great food, attentive, knowledgeable service and the dining rooms illuminated only by candle light. Chef and Owner Peter Platt, along with his team, work to create innovative and memorable meals that are an event unto themselves. Currently, we are offering a $85 prix fixe menu with 5-6 choices per course every night we are open. The hours for dinner are Wednesday through Sunday 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm for both indoors and in an all new screened outdoor room. The wine list is graced with an array of thoughtfully selected estate bottled wines from France, California, Italy and around the world.     Oh, baby, what an experience! My date and I, we were absolutely smashing, yeah! We kicked things off with some bread slathered in beef tallow—oh, it was new, exciting, and downright delicious, baby! Then, we shared the green goddess salad and the 5 onion soup—both of 'em were pure magic, I tell ya! So good, I couldn't help myself, I drank that soup like it was liquid gold. For the main event, we had the lasagna and the trout fish and chips—timeless, baby! So classic, I thought I’d just float away on a cloud of flavor. Lee, our groovy server, was a total legend and made the whole experience a real treat. We'll be back soon, baby—no doubt about it! Yeah!

    Beautiful campus, architecture and culinary history surround you as you enter. The staff are culinary students who are genuine and professional throughout the evening. The service is top notch, friendly and timely. The meal was excellent highlighted by the most remarkable Parker House and Chibata rolls baked fresh on site. Highly recommend!
