Entrees range from thick, juicy steaks and prime rib to the finest grilled fresh fish and live Maine lobster. Choose from the menu or a superb selection of specials offered nightly. Add a cappuccino and a freshly made dessert to seal the dining experience. The restaurant has been locally owned and under the same management since 1981. Ryan's has been awarded the Wine Spectator's "Award of Excellence" and is often featured in national publications.     We went to celebrate my dad’s birthday and what an experience! We went a few days after Christmas and the restaurant was still decorated. We all ordered steaks and they were cooked to perfection. Perry, our waiter, was on point and attentive the whole night, recommended a great wine to pair with dinner and the peanut butter pie to end the meal. Overall an amazing dinner experience, we’ll definitely be back!

    It was good. Waiter was a little forgetful. Had to remind him to bring our lobster bisque. Asked for salt n pepper twice. Told waiter we were celebrating birthdays and he promised to take care of it and did not.

    We were visiting Winston Salem and checked out Sage and Salt Bistro after reading reviews on Open Table. Our dinners were delicious (particularly the tuna tower, salmon and the lamb). We loved the quiet small aspect of the restaurant and will definitely come back when we are in town again. The Uber driver did have trouble finding the front of the restaurant (it is little confusing) and also there seem to be two different Sage and Salt restaurants - one is more of a large bar with food and music and the other located next door is the small restaurant.
