Restaurants near Children's Museum of the Lowcountry

Amazing service! Great atmosphere and great food! Would not hesitate to do brunch there again!

Great date night experience! Arrived early and sat at the bar, bar staff could not be more friendly, cocktails were fabulous. We were seated for dinner right in time for our reservation time. Wait staff was quick ti greet us and take drink orders. Baked oysters were fabulous, bread was served still warm. Redfish special was cooked perfectly, jasmine rice was moist and fluffy. This is one of the most consistent restaurants downtown.

We arrived a bit early for our reservation and they seated us immediately without issue. The server was very well spoken and helpful - she did not talk so fast as to be unintelligible for us senior citizens. The salmon was cooked to perfection!!

Had the greatest waitress named Sophia. She was outstanding. All four entrées were excellent. The menu selection was great. And the gluten-free menu was awesome. Only problem which I’m sure that you know is the noise level can get pretty intense when there’s a crowd. Other than that, it was a great experience. 

I have never experienced the kind of hospitality that was shown to my family for my daughter's birthday last night. She felt incredibly special with the extra touch of confetti and gifts that were perfect for her special interests (including a signed basketball from the staff.) The waiters were kind and helpful and the food was delicious. We have always enjoyed O-Ku but I was blown away by our experience last night.
