- PPatrickToronto / Ontario •29 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoOur regular downtown spot whenever we crave steaks, The Keg once again exceeded our expectations. From a friendly hostess to a wonderful server Matthew S., they made our evening so enjoyable. Steaks were perfect (can never go wrong with their Prime Rib) and their diligence with food allergies are much appreciated. We’ll be returning soon!More infoThe Keg Steakhouse + Bar - York StreetPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Financial District•4.6
- LLianToronto / Ontario •3 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoOnce again, an incredible experience! I came from DC to Toronto for a few days, and of course, I had to come back to Daphne to try the lunch menu and hopefully see your wonderful manager, Amanda. I had a busy day and decided to go to lunch alone. Luckily, Amanda was there! She remembered me, exactly what she recommended last visit, and which dishes were my favourite — her memory and intellect are truly impressive. Based on what I had already tried, my palette preferences, and hunger level, she recommended two dishes for me, the Tuna Carpaccio and the Tomato and Persimmon Salad. Both were fantastic and satisfied my mid-day cravings. I left feeling energized and satiated. Amanda also checked in on me throughout my meal, keeping me just enough company, which I really appreciated since I was dining alone. The way that she conducts herself showcases a high level of interpersonal skills and intuition as she initiated the perfect degree of conversation, which is quite rare. A lunch experience is seldom noteworthy, but somehow Amanda finds a way to make it so. Thanks again for a lovely meal! I’ll be back on Saturday to bring all my friends to try the delicious food and to meet Amanda!More infoDaphnePrice: Very Expensive• American• Financial District•4.7

- DDiannevipToronto / Ontario •26 reviews5.0Dined on 19 Nov 2024An outstanding restaurant in the Hilton Hotel in downtown Toronto. From the greeting of the hostess to the warm service offered by George our server to the food - all went beyond our expectations. Service was efficient but did not give the feeling of being rushed to ensure we were comfortably on time for the ballet we were attending just across the street. It is off the main lobby so could be noisy (the initial noise when we first arrived quickly died down), however the hostess did seat people in the area which was more remote from the lobby which did help. The only other improvement could be the seating. Cushions were provided to help, but found the banquette positioned well back from the table and the tub chairs although they looked comfortable to sit did not position those of us of short stature as comfortably for eating. However, this is definitely on my list for a return visit. Many more menu items to try out!More infoFrenchy Bar et BrasseriePrice: Expensive• French• Financial District•4.5
