Restaurants near Channel Park

We had a fabulous yummy lunch and the server was great. He recommended a dish and I ended up loving it and it was a Mediterranean bowl. My husband had a shrimp and steak combo, which was also amazing. We loved that we got a glass of champagne also as we entered the restaurant and we’ll definitely be back Again soon. The ambience there is really beautiful and fun and the outdoor spaces make it really perfect..

This was our first time dining at Nobu and overall a great experience! The food, drinks, and service was wonderful. Our server was excellent but unfortunately I didn’t catch his name! The one thing we did not like was upon being greeted by the host, we were immediately told that we only had an allotted time to enjoy our meal and this was repeated numerous times to us which was quite a turn off, especially considering the restaurant was not full by any means, with several open tables upon arrival and leaving. It just put a sour taste in our mouth before we even sat down to eat. But all in all, a great dining experience and we would come again!

This is my first real review because I had such a great experience. Everything from the food, venue, and service was spot on. Don’t believe the negative reviews on yelp (which don’t require a visit to leave a review). Food - we had the shrimp cocktail, lobster roll caviar (highly recommend), gem salad, and fish along with white wine and champagne. Desert was crem brûlée which was also amazing. Service - chatted with the host before seating and everyone is super accommodating. Our server, Phil, was great and attentive. Even small details like splitting a salad and the kitchen just plated two for us was really nice. Venue - 10/10 unique and you have to see it for yourself Price - definitely $$$, but good quality was really good. My only con - I wish the waiting area had more seats especially by the champagne / wine bar.

This is our favorite restaurant in Newport. Every meal we’ve enjoyed here has been superb and they make a good old fashioned. Tried the apple dumplings for the first time—delish! You just can’t go wrong at The Alley. Hardest thing is deciding which entree to select because you each will be awesome. Good vibe, wait staff is always very attentive.

The food was great overall. Servers were very attentive.
