Restaurants near Central Reve Downtown Condo

Monday night at 8PM so understandably quiet. Wonderful space on the second floor, fireplace was warm and welcoming on a cold night. Coat check kept the space tidy. Staff were wonderful, offered excellent seating arrangements, and complementary appetizer based on a mis-order. Garlic bread, and polenta were very tasty. Drinks were great, and fast.

Seems Chubby’s has modified their menu since last time I was here in 2023. I definitely like today’s menu. Best fried okra I’ve ever had. Jerk chicken, especially the wings are delicious as well as the plantain chips n dip. Probably won’t order the ackee & salt fish appetizer again though. I love ackee but the bread they used was either stale or over baked as it was difficult to chew. Soursop drink was so good. Carrot cake was delicious but so small (price doesn’t justify). Raisin rum bread pudding 8/10. Would like to come back here for the fried okra!

Outstanding personalized service for our New Balance business meal. Full credit goes to our Server who was the ultimate professional. The food menu, taste and value was top-class!

Upon enter the beautifully designed and modern space, a hostess was there opening the door and greeting us. I made a reservation on Open Table for Happy Hour. We were escorted to an elevator where we were immediately led to our table for two. The value for the delicious food was worth it. Our server, Brian was friendly and efficient as well as a female staff that was also taking good care of us. We had a total of 6 cocktails altogether and they were all worth it for the $10 per cocktail. We had the King Kona, Fever Dream, Coconut Cooler, Mai Tai, Jungle Bird and the Pineapple Negroni. Almost all the Happy Hour food choices were outstanding (we tried all of them except the edamame and burger) but my favourites were the Kale salad, salt & pepper pork belly and the crispy new potatoes. I would definitely recommend, especially for Happy Hour!

Earls on King West is a lovely vibe, and the service is always outstanding. Food is generally very good. Nice place to go on a date or with a group.
