Since 1746, the building that houses this tavern has played a part in the establishment of our nation; first as a respite for stagecoach travelers expanding westward and later as a covert rendezvous point for George Washington, Marquis de Lafayette, and other leaders of the American revolution. It is believed that during the infamous winter of 1777–1778 at Valley Forge, a major figure in the Continental Army, master military mind Friedrich Von Steuben, designated the tavern as a secret black powder munitions stash for Continental Army couriers. I had a wonderful dining experience at Terrain. The food was absolutely delicious, with fresh and flavorful options that truly impressed. The drinks were expertly crafted, adding to the overall enjoyment. Our host, Rebecca, was warm and welcoming, and servers Alysse and Abby were attentive and friendly, making us feel right at home. A perfect spot for a memorable meal!

As always, the General Warren was wonderful. Many good dishes s. This week, tried the chicken schnitzel- delicious! Two other guests tried the bronzino and raved about it. The mushroom soup is always a winner. Was a bit noisy this week but to be expected as it is holiday time. Typically very comfortable from perspective of background noise. Great local fine dining establishment.

Combination B is the bomb - but you better have 3 people to share! Their rolls are large and the fish is top rate. Oh, and FWIW, their egg rolls are the best around!
