We really enjoyed our supper. We had waited quite a while to try Hugo's and we were not disappointed. The food was absolutely excellent. Our waiter, Carlos, was very entertaining and very nice. The overall experience with the restaurant was very good with one glaring exception. It was loud in there – at least louder than I thought it would be but I guess that is because it's a pretty confined space. Also, we're there for Christmas night supper and of course dressed up like they indicate is required. But across from us is a table of rednecks in T-shirts and football jerseys all talking so loud like they were sitting at a bar table at PT's.. I was somewhat disappointed because I thought that it was supposed to be "business attire" and upscale. I know the couple at the table beside us felt the same way. You get all dressed to go to a "fancy restaurant" and you're seated next to drunk loudmouths who are dressed like they are at the "Vegas vacation $2.99 buffet". One of the pumpkins thought he was at a "all you can eat complementary bread eating contest". So I think they need to start enforcing the dress code if they're going to have one and then maybe go over to a tables and ask if they could keep the volume down because there's other people trying to enjoy a romantic or special dinner at a very expensive restaurant. I am all four people having fun but this wasn't a Chuck E. Cheese

This is high end Mexican food where the portions are appropriate and not gigantic like some places. The quality is top notch. The ambiance is festive and classy. The drinks were delicious. This isn't a typical Mexican restaurant ... don't expect rice and beans to come with every dish. They come with some but not all. And it isn't always Mexican Rice. My shrimp tacos came with a delightfully delicious buttery fluffy rice and black beans. My husbands Trio (one shrimp, one crab, one lobster) Seafood Enchiladas didn't come with either. It isn't noted on the menu which meals come with accompaniments but the server can let you know. This was probably one of the best Mexican restaurants I've been to but I'm not a connoisseur of Mexican food. I do know what tastes good and fresh and this was it.

This was my first trip to Vegas in over 30 years. We came specifically to check out the restaurant scene. Esther's Kitchen was the only restaurant we selected that was off the strip, and boy was it worth the (very short) trip. We came for lunch, were greeted by friendly staff and seated immediately. The vibe is hip, casual, and super comfortable. I ordered the roasted mushroom pizza and the pear and radicchio salad. The pizza may have been the best I have ever tasted (and I've eaten A LOT of NYC pizza). The crust was heavenly and the combination of mushroom, cheese and garlic was perfection. But wait, that salad; I'm still dreaming about it!! It had the most incredible sherry vinaigrette and roasted hazelnuts with blue cheese. Hubby ordered the charcuterie board and the kale salad. The board had an abundance of delicious salty meats, fine cheeses, picked vegetables and grilled sourdough bread with butter and strawberries in saba. Just delicious!!! We ordered way too much food for the two of us, but managed to finish most of it. You could EASILY split a pizza and a salad and be completely satisfied. Next time we're in Vegas, we will DEFINITELY come back to Esther's.

Everything was absolutely delicious. Matthew and the other bartenders were very professional and you can tell their sole focus was on the guests. And from one chef to another, thank you Chef Ben! By the way, the roasted bone marrow was off the hook!

Golden Steer Steakhouse is a great restaurant to try atleSt once whole in Vegas. Social media has added to the notariaty of this restaurant, which in turn is reflected in the high price for the meal. The lobster, although good, is overpriced. It appears that the prices have increased over the past few months. The steaks are great but too overpriced. The service is top notch, no issues there. But the dress code requirements, although a nice rule, are not consistent.
