We had the most enjoyable Christmas meal, service and staff were excellent, could not fault the place. We go every Christmas and it is always a great experience - thanks for the window booth, always makes it extra special. See ye in the new year. Joy

Such a wonderful experience for the festive season, meeting Santa was wonderful, he was so patient and kind to my daughter who has special needs. Santy got down on the floor to play with her, and I couldn't recommend this place enough. So inclusive, the most attentive staff and excellent food. One of the best family experiences we have had in a long time, top class service.

We had a wonderful evening, lovely ambience, amazing food and service. Staff are so helpful and pleasant so overall a fantastic place to eat. Three of us are coeliac and this was not an issue, we had plenty of choice. The cocktails were delicious and Coq bull is definitely a firm favourite restaurant for our family. I’d highly recommend it! Five star service across the board.

This was not our first time at the Herbert Restaurant but it has been a couple of years and it did not disappoint. We had very high expectations after our last visit and this time was even better, if that's possible. All courses were superb. I have eaten in Michelin star restaurants and this experience was as good if not better than some. I had the rabbit to start and duck for main course, followed by the raspberry and white chocolate dessert. Each course including aperitif were sublime. The duck particularly was beautifully cooked and the best I have ever had. My husband had the scallops and stonefish and was extremely impressed.

From service + food, everything was amazing! Such a beautiful place to dine.
