The Durham Ox is a family owned traditional village Inn offering friendly and efficient service; showcasing the best of local produce in our menu, as well as stocking an extensive range of wines and cask ales. Betty’s was as always a beautiful place for a treat of afternoon tea, the atmosphere is amazing, food was delicious, great value for money. We visited at 2pm we were not rushed to leave the table so had plenty of time to enjoy ourselves, and to top it all it left us feeling full for the rest of the day. Overall a thoroughly wonderful experience

2nd time to the Durham OX. It was so good the 1st time we brought friends with us this time. Service is great. Very attentive staff. Atmosphere is comfy and cozy. Food is fantastic. The destination is about a 40 minute drive for us but absolutely worth it. I highly recommend anyone going for a visit. I look forward to our next one.
