Restaurants near Brookstone Village Shopping Center

This was my second time having lunch at Gianni and Mac’s. The food, the service, and the atmosphere were all outstanding. I took my Italian friend to get his opinion. He was very impressed with his meal (comparable to “back home”) and the overall restaurant design and decor. He says he wants to come back for dinner soon. The arancini balls are outstanding and you can’t miss with their pizza selections. This is my go to place on the Marietta Square.

My husband and I celebrated Valentines Day at Macs this past Sunday and had an amazing meal! We had the Beef Wellington bites, French Onion Soup & Cesar Salad to start and everything was superb! I had the Barrel Filet cooked medium rare with bone marrow butter and my husband had the Prime Rib-eye and they were both amazing!! I was really looking forward to trying the Sticky Toffee Pudding but I looked at the wrong menu online so we skipped dessert and had some night cap cocktails. Our night was great with great service as well! Will definitely comeback!

We went to Henry's for Valentine's dinner with another couple. We got the boudin balls as an appetizer, I was pleasantly surprised! Very tasty, little spicy with sausage and kind of like a hush puppy outside batter. Really liked it dipped in the remoulade sauce. My husband had the Liam's chicken he said it was Fantastic! Really juicy and flavorful. I got the blackened catfish over spicy cheese grits and it's was so delicious! It was an enjoyable dining experience.

This is the best Valentines I ever had. The service was amazing. The food came out in a timely manner. All three courses were delicious! Abby, our server was amazing. We had a great glass of Moscato downstairs and they put glitter in it for us. Amazing amazing amazing will definitely be back.

Overall the dining experience was 5 stars. The waitstaff is top notch and we enjoyed our time. I did not enjoy my meal as much as I wanted too. It was very salty and in my opinion had too much oil. I suspect that this is not the norm as many people in my life rave about this place. I will try again in the future to see if it was just an off meal.
