Best restaurant in the Valley. Great food incredible atmosphere amazing music, fabulous staff!!!

There are only a handful of restaurants that can cook a pork chop the way it’s supposed to be cooked. Medium Rare (not white, not too pink, but slightly pink). Bar Cecil is spot on when it comes to cooking pork chops the way I like them. In fact, I’ve eaten here three times, and all three times, I’ve had the chop. DELICIOUS! My only comment is that I wish you had black napkins for those of us who wear white slacks. White napkins, no matter how many times they’ve been washed, do, in fact, leave link on clothing. When I asked the bus boy for a black napkin, he said that I was the third person that night to ask. Hint, hint. Thanks for a great experience.

We enjoyed sitting on the front patio and had the best waiter, Anthony!! He was superb. The service was what made the evening!! It was a great family dinner with 4 adults and 2 kids (8 & 9 year olds), and Eddie V’s was a highlight for our little vacation. My filet mignon was wonderful and the bernaise sauce was great with it. Lives the BLT Wedge salad, which I split. My husband ordered scallops and thought they were okay, but not amazing. The creamy mashed potatoes were not that creamy, so I think we should’ve ordered the au gratin cheesy potatoes instead. Anthony brought several desserts for the table (on the house, which was so sweet), and love the bananas foster and butter cake, but thought the berry sorbet with it did nothing to enhance the butter cake. Kind of an odd pairing, but it was free so whatever. They usually pair it with a nutty ice cream, which is better, in my opinion. We will definitely be back when in the desert (or go to our local one in La Jolla). I think their filet mignon cannot be touched by most other nice restaurants, and I’ve tried it at many.

Lavender is now our favorite restaurant in the Palm Springs/Desert area. Lots of gluten free options food was delicious, service impressive. The patio was warm, cozy, inviting. We had a perfect evening and I’ve already made another reservation You simply must go!

Limited menu Monday - Wednesday, but the food that was available was very good. Service was good although it took a long time to get my cocktail. There was no bartender so the service staff had to make my drink.
