Current never disappoints. Just two of you? Treat yourselves to seating at the bar.More infoCurrent Fish & OysterPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Downtown•4.6
- RRachelVIPUtah •8 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoOur server was beyond amazing. She was cheerful, informative, professional, and took initiative to make sure our order arrived with enough time to leave for our show following dinner. Additionally, all of the dishes (and beverages) we ordered were absolutely fantastic. It’s clear this restaurant knows what it’s doing, has good leadership, and the staff is happy. We’ll done, guys 👏More infoBambaraPrice: Very Expensive• Modern European• Downtown•4.3
- JjennyVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •6 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWe love coming to Matteo’s. We were finally able to visit their new location in downtown Salt Lake City and it is beautiful. It’s bigger than their first location but still has all the charm and familiarity. I am really touched by their ability to make you feel like a special guest. I love seeing familiar faces and the fact that they remember you is really heart warming and something a lot of restaurants don’t prioritize as part of the dining experience. The food was outstanding, as usual. We love getting the steak special whenever it is available. It really is one of the best steaks in Utah (and I’ve been to just about every steakhouse here). Of course though, the pasta is always delicious and their desserts are usually something I never pass on.More infoMatteo Ristorante ItalianoPrice: Expensive• Italian• Salt Lake City•4.7
- BBobbiVIPUtah •14 reviews4.0Dined on 9 Feb 2025Beautiful ambiance in back of restaurant. They had several large tables of high school kids at their Sweethearts dance so the noise level was higher than normal and food delivery was very slow. They were trying to do their best so we appreciated that. Our server was great and very kind to keep us updated. The Caesar salad and house bread of delish! The pizza was good but crust was undercooked and they had it on a weird bowl/plate where all the toppings slid to the middle. I think they just rushed to get it out and probably didn’t have any clean pizza plates left. We were seated at a small table against a wall that had plastic chairs. They were extremely uncomfortable and when the wait was abnormally long we asked to move to a booth that had been open the entire time and our server was happy to let us move. We will go back and give it a second try:)More infoSalt and OlivePrice: Moderate• Gastro Pub• Salt Lake City•4.5
