The food was excellent. Steak with blue cheese crust melted in your mouth. We would’ve preferred steak over sausage with the fondue, but otherwise it was very tasty. Mock tail was very good too!!

Gar Woods was crawling with tons of folks looking to spend a great Thanksgiving with a great meal and good friends. For as jam packed as they were, the staff kept everything moving as smoothly as possible, which was an incredible feat! The menu was a choice of Thanksgiving Turkey or Thanksgiving ha plus you could order off of their normal Dinner menu if you preferred. Most of my group had the Turkey and it came out piping hot, covered with gravy, mashed potatoes, white and dark meat, dressing, cranberry sauce, and asparagus tips . . a feast for the eyes and stomach . . followed by apple pie and ice cream. An incredibly joyous and memorable evening. Gar Woods never fails to deliver and deliver it did. Lots of smiling faces that night!

Since it was our first time my daughter and I ordered more than we needed. We started off with the wagyu meatballs and the lobster risotto. Both were amazing. Most restaurants have 1-2 meat balls but this was a plate of meatballs, small but very tasty. The risotto was as good as expected from this restaurant. My daughter ordered the Jidori chicken and she loved it. Large portion and she even ate the kale that was with it. I had the filet cooked medium and it was spot on. So tender that as I cut into it it wanted to fall apart. We ordered the baked Mac and cheese, which was forgotten but arrived mid meal. It is a must try. Sean was our server and very detailed on each item we asked about. We plan to visit another HK sometime soon.
